Solid Surface Care

Use the table and instructions below for tips on how to keep your solid surface countertop looking great.

Task

Solution

Dirt and residue

Use soapy water or ammonia based cleaner and rinse.  Wipe dry.  Do not use glass cleaner.

Prevent hard water marks

Keep the countertop clean and dry.  If water marks occurs, clean with CLR or Lime-A-Way.

Residue or Blotches

Clean with a non-abrasive scrub, such as Soft Scrub.

Disinfect

Clean with a solution of equal parts bleach and water

 

Other Tips…

  • Do Not place anything hot, such as pots and pans, directly on the countertop surface. Hot items can cause heat damage to solid surface countertops.
  • Do Not use any harsh chemicals, such as paint removers and oven cleaners, on your solid surface countertop. If a harsh chemical does get on your countertop, immediately flush the area with water to rinse off the chemical.
  • Do Not cut directly on a solid surface countertop. Instead, use a cutting board when cutting.
