Engineered stone is very easy to clean because of its hard, nonporous surface. Below are a few tips for taking care of your engineered stone countertops.
- Use any mild, non-abrasive cleaner to wipe away dirt and grime.
- Use a plastic putty knife to scrap off stuck-on materials, such as food or gum.
- Never use abrasive cleaning pads, bleach, strong chemicals and solvents, such strippers and paint thinners, or cleansers with an extremely high PH.
- Do not place hot pots or skillets directly on the countertop surface.
- Always wipe up food and spills as soon as possible.
